Biography

Patience was born on 8 Jan 1720/1 in Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut to parents [burroughs-442|Stephen Burroughs]] and Ruth (Nichols) Beach.[1]

She is mentioned in her father's will which was written on 17 Mar 1769. He referred to her as his daughter Patience Beach.[2]

I'm trying to sort out some issues, beginning with Patience Burroughs, wife of David Sanford. Her children alerted me to the issue, and I believe the solution begins with separating her from a second husband, Benjamin Beach. I believe that Benjamin Beach and beach-4170 need to be merged, and that the woman he married was Patience Burroughs, daughter of Stephen Burroughs, son of John Burroughs and Patience Burroughs. It gets tricky, but I believe that at least seven merges (six children and the Benjamins) are required to sort it out, as well as one reassignment of the younger Patience. I can do it, but I wanted to let others review and share their conclusions. Thanks.
