Biography

Isaac was born in 1727. He married Hannah Pope on 26 June 1756 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, Mass. According to an SAR application, he participated in the American Revolution on the side of the Colonies: Isaac was a private in Capt. Elisha Nye's Company from 1 Sept 1776 to 21 Nov 1776, 2 mos and 21 days. The company was stationed at Elizabeth Islands for seacoast defense, roll taken at Barnstable County, Mass. He was later a private in Capt. Micah Chapman's company, Col. Freeman's Regt Service, 5 days, on alarm at Dartmouth and Flamouth, 6 Sept 1778. Another 2 days, probably in Nov 1778, guarding prisoners belingong to the British ship "Somerset," cast ashore.

Isaac died in Plainfield, VT.
