There are rumors on many genealogy websites of another relationship with a woman named Patricia Arquette. I have seen no documentation of the existence of such a person, or of a marriage or other relationship. For the sake of thoroughness, I list below the children that were supposedly born from this relationship. (Note: there is a profile for Arquette, but I have not linked it here.)

Richard Ward b: 1835; Robert Ward b: 3 Jan 1837; James Ward; Joseph Ward.

The Marriage of Abner Vernon Ward & Patricia Arquette is a MYTH. Patricia Arquette (except for the actress) does not exist. Therefore, the sons listed do not exist. There is no record of the marriage because it never happened, & there is no other mention of her anywhere else on the Internet or records for the children because the whole story was a total fabrication.

Also, if you've added Robert J. Ward as a second husband of Catherine Carrie Wooley (Woolley) ( wife of Jeptha Harris Ward), it's the same thing. It never happened. Since Robert Ward doesn't exist, any sons attributed to Catherine & Robert don't exist, either. I know the source who has since died. I'll never know why that person made up this story. Without verification, this Myth was posted sometime around 1995 to 2000, Anyone who added this information to their genealogy tree should remove it. Please take it down.
