Inscription “In memory of/ James Warren, / of the fifth generation from/ Richard Warren of the Mayflower./ He was born in Middleboro, Mass., in/ 1710, settled in Tiverton, now Fall/ River, and died there about 1790,/ and was buried on his farm and/ removed from thence by his great-grandson, / Theodore Warren, / who erected this stone to his memory.”
