His will was written on 10 January 1804 in New Canaan. His wife, Esther was the sole executor. He lists the five sons, Abraham, Peter, Zenus, Rufus, and Henry Roger; and five daughters, Esther, Huldah, Betsey, Polly, and Nancy.[6]

Peter Weed, s. of Sylvanus & Sarah, b. 18 April 1754, no likely marriage recorded in Stamford.
