Biography
Hannah was born about 1803 and baptised on the 3rd of August 1803 at St. Leonard, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, England, the daughter of Richard Preese and Elizabeth Preese[1].
Hannah, a spinster, married William Henry Walford, a bachelor, on the 13th July 1823 at St. Leonard, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, England. Witnessed by Williams & Elizabeth Walford [2].
Hannah probably helped her husband run the "White Hart" Pub until the pub was taken over by their son William between 1861 and 1871.
Hannah's husband died in 1879[3].
She passed away on the 21st July 1887 at the Cartway, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, England[4].
Probate : Wiil proved 15th August 1887 at Shrewsbury, Shropshire by Harriett Walford of the Cartway, spinster, the sole executrix[4].

Research Notes
No Baptisms were found for Elizabeth Walford (abt. 1825) or William Walford (abt. 1831), but as they were born after the marriage of Hannah to William Henry in 1823, and they are recorded as the children of William Henry Walford in the 1851 census, it is assumed that they are also the children of Hannah. In 1881, William is recorded as the son of Hannah (incorrectly enumerated as Harriet).
