If you are looking for Uncle Sam's gravestone, it is all the way in the back of the Oakwood Cemetery. It took us a long time since there wasn't any directions to such an important site. Also, the historical society in Troy is a must visit when you are downtown. Don't forget to visit the statue of Uncle Sam. We really enjoyed our stop in Troy, what a great historical town.
