E R R A T A
- John, s. & h. of Robert Brandling & [...] Selby, did not marry "Robert Cla." ... John's wife was Margaret, dau. of Robert Hely of Yorkshire. The error is noted in Vis. of the North, 1560/1, and comes from 16 HARL Soc.
- Hist. of Parl., disputes Sir Rbt. Brandling as first husband of Anne Place ... He might have been her second, making John Ifield the first.
