I William Castleberry of the County of Hopkins and the State of Kentucky, being of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all other or former Wills or Testaments by me made in manner and form following that is to say.
To first I give to my wife Keziah Castleberry during her life or widowhood the plantation whereon I now reside to decend to my Son Christopher N. Castleberry.
2nd I give to Rachel Nations and Betsy Louisa Carnahan one heifer each
3rd After my just debts and funeral expenses are paid I give to my wife all my household and kitchen furniture and farming utensils and stock of every description except what is herein otherwise disposed of.
4th My Will is that my still and bay horse be sold and the money disposed of for the benefit of my son Christopher N. Castleberry.
5th My Children towit Fleming, Martin, James, Nathan and David Castleberry, Anna Harris, Betsy Howton, Darcas Howton I leave nothing of my present estate, they having herefofore received their portion.
6th If my wife should be __?___ at my decease and the issue live my will is that the bequest left to my Son C.N. Castleberry be equally divided between him and it.
And lastly I appoint Christopher Jackson and my Son Nathan Castleberry Executors of this my last Will and Testament. Witness my hand and seal this the 15th day of September 1835. William Castleberry (his x mark and seal)

This Testament of writing was this day produced in; Court and forever to the the last will and testament of William Castleberry deceased by the oaths of Eli Bishop and Joseph Woodruff subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded thereupon the same is recorded accordingly.

William Castleberry signed his Last Will and Testament on 15 September 1835. It was proved in Hopkins County, Kentucky Court in November 1835 by oaths of Eli Bishop and Joseph Woodruff.
