day of May 1851 at Mount Gilboa Church near Catonsville Baltimore County Maryland by one Caleb Hall a minister of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, that no marriage certificate was given her at the time as it was not the custom so to do. that there were born to her and her said husband during the existence of said marriage the following children who are now under sixteen years of age. Samuel Clark aged ten years residing with his mother -

That she has remained a widow since the death of her husband, all which will appear by the proof hereto annexed. That she believes there is neither public or private record of her said marriage, nor is there any living witnesses of her said
