On this 23 day of April 1906 at National Military Home County of Montgomery state of Ohio, before me W. T. Cathcart a Special examiner of the Bureau of Pensions personally appeared John L. Hicks who, being by me first duly sworn to answer truly all interrogatories propounded to him during this special examination of aforesaid claim for pension deposes and says, I am 63 years of age, my post office address is as above TBD 26. That number was changed from 25 to 26 at this point. I became a member about 7 years ago. I have been here only part of the time since.
I enlisted June 17, 1863 in Company K 55 Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry and was discharged about September 15, 1865 a private.
