Claimant also states Jerry Vaughn and Jim Wilson enlisted at same time he did but does not recall whether they were in the 54 or 55th Regiment.

If their names, or that of drummer Taylor, can be found on roster of either Regiment, and their addresses can be obtained they should be seen.

This is the only "further examination" I can suggest.
