Disabilities: chronic rheumatism, resulting disease of heart, right TBD hernia, TBD, gun shot wound of left hip and right hand and wrist, TBD at Honey Hill South Carolina in 1864.

Case of James H. Jackson, No. 922,015

On this 9th day of July, 1906, at National Military Home, county of Grant State of Indiana, before me, C.E. Paul, a Special Examiner of the Bureau of Pensions, personally appeared Stuart McGowan, who says:

I am 59 years of age; address National Military Home, Grant County, Indiana.

I am Adjutant of this Branch Home. The membership records show that James H. Jackson, Sergeant Company D 54th and Sergeant Company B 55th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry (colored troops) was admitted to TBD this Branch Home June 20, 1899 and fully admitted July 7, 1899 and dropped from rolls February 19, 1900. Was a pensioner at $8.00 per month under certificate No. 922,015. Sworn application for membership was executed July 5, 1899
