Transcription:

Files discharge from Michigan State Soldiers' Home, dated March 12, 1895. No army discharge on file.

Left on furlough for Toledo, Ohio August 7, 1899 and dropped while absent on extension of furlough, having failed to report on expiration of furlough.

Correspondence shows he went first to Benton Harbor, Michigan on leaving this Branch Home.

Not interested. Not related.

The foregoing has been verified from the records and files and is correct. TBD of preliminary oath were stricken out before certificate was prepared for TBD signature. Contents of this certificate were fully made known to me before I signed same.
