Transcription: R Poage proved his Right to Land isd. of 22 May 1740.
Robert Poage came into court and read oath that he imported himself, Elizabeth his wife, Margot, John, Martha, Sarah, George, Mary, Elizabeth, Wm & Robert Poage from Ireland to Philadelphia & from there into this Colony at his own Charges and that this is the first time of his proving his & their rights in order to obtain land and is ordered to be certified.
