It will be found, no doubt, that the affidavit of Hezekiah Stewart was made from data furnished by said Marshall. Said affidavit, it will be noticed, as well as that of Delaney's (B.J.11) is entitled in the handwriting of said Marshall.

Claimant changes place of incurrence of all of his wounds from battle of Honey Hill, S.C. to that of Bunker Hill, S.C. [TBD],

I have not taken evidence for a separate on the criminal features herein as I have submitted perhaps a score of reports on similar matters, in as many different cases, concerning the said attorney's fraudulent acts which, if all were considered in connection would, in my opinion, be regarded as sufficient grounds for special examination of every claim in which said Marshall appears as attorney of record. I have no doubt whatever that the claims of Jesse Hays, King Sanders, Lowry Sanders, and John Sanders, were proven and allowed on just such evidence as is herein.

This claim, in my opinion, is without merit.

army, is at variance. It is true, and no doubt the case, that if this witness did know claimant before his enlistment in Co. C,10 U.S. Cav, March 1867, it was, as he has said, a very brief while. This [TBD] evidence as to rheumatism existing ever since 65-66, as it appears in his affidavit, is false.
