Hi Doug. I'm attempting to locate the genealogy of this family of Ros of Kilfaunis, but this is literally the only mention of them on all of Google. I'm hoping you can share with me some more information about them so I can figure out where to begin. Thanks.

Hi Kelly, Yes that's right. I suspect the original "Kilfaunis" was a typo for Kinfaunis. Kinfaunis (Kinfauns) is in Perthshire, overlooking the River Tay. At the time, c 1310+, the land was held to the Abbot of Scone Abbey and held by Ross and De Maneris families. The Ross family held them at least till mid 15th C as the Abbot of Scone brought a dispute for unpaid rents against a Robert de Ross for unpaid rent.
