He fell in the Netherlands on a defensie perimeter for the Son LZ and DZ (sniper) In the Netherlands. All deceased soldiers were first buried in a field grave, then transferred to the temporary militairy cemetry at Wolfswinkel (Just north of Son-Netherlands). After the family decided not to transfer him to the USA his body was transferred to the Americam cemetry at Margraten. Your picture gives me the feeling it is Wolfswinkel. See the pictures at:
