William Slough/Slow may have been a person qualified and available to lead the effort to lay out the town of Milford, CT
He is mentioned as one of the Planters in "History of the Colony of New Haven" - he was not a "Free" Planter as he did not belong to the Church. This book records a death date of 1681 for him.
