John Bull was the youngest son of Stephen Bull, immigrant.
Militia captain during the Yemessee War.
In the 1730s, he moved his planting to Prince William's Parish - as did brothers William and Burnaby.
Buried at Old Sheldon Church (Parish Church of Prince William's Parish), Beaufort County, South Carolina. His tombstone reads:
"Here lie the remains of | John Bull | youngest son of Stephen Bull | one of the Deputies of the Lords | Proprietors of Carolina | he died August the 16th 1767 | aged 74 years."
John Bull of Prince William Parish made his Will on 6 April 1767. He left specified land to his grandson William Middleton (son of Thomas and Mary Middleton). The rest of his estate was left to his wife Mary.[1]
His wife's 1771 Will left her estate to her granddaughters Mary Brewton, Elizabeth Blake, Sarah Guerard, and Mary Butler.[2]
