Abiah was born in 1760 [month and day not shown in record] in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut Colony, the daughter of Nathaniel Beach and Patience Peet.^{[2] [3]}

Born July 30, 1735; died Feb. 27, 1818, Father: Israel Beach, No. 40.; Mother: Hannah Burnett, No. 98 was married Mar. 22, 1758 to Patience Peet, born 1735, died May 6, 1792. Children:
