Biography

DANIEL HASTY ... came from Ireland with his wife and four children. He appeared first at Portsmouth, N.H. and in Dec. 1731, bought land in Scarborough, Me. He died Aug. 3, 1756. His widow died Feb. 8, 1758.

Children were:

1. Martha, born 1711, married Jonathan LIBBY
2. William, born 1718, lived in Scarborough
3. Robert, settled in Limington
4. Mary, married Dec. 2, 1742, John HARMON^[1]
