Biography
George W Dyer was born 17 Nov 1808 in Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland County, Massachusetts.[1] He was the son of Jesse Dyer and Mary Brown.
He married Martha Ann Eldridge on Dec 1842 in Bangor, Penobscot, Maine, United States.[2]
He married Lydia A. Smith on February 19, 1852 in Biddeford, York County, Maine.[3]
In 1870, they were living in Springvale Township in Humboldt, Iowa. George is listed as a Stone Quarrier, age 62, Lydia is listed as age 60. Also in the household is his daughter by his first marriage, Henriette Dyer, age 20 born in Maine.[4]
In 1880, they were still living in Springvale Township in Humboldt, Iowa.[5]
George passed away on September 19, 1891 in Humboldt, Humboldt County, Iowa.[6] He is buried in Union Cemetery in Humboldt, Humboldt County, Iowa.[7]
