Biography
Mercy Higgins was born in 1777[1] in Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Reuben Higgins and Mercy Dyer.
She married David Dyer on April 6, 1798 in Maine.[2] They had 3 children.
- Gardner Dyer (1801-)
- Seth Dyer (1805-1868)[3]
- Mercy Higgins Dyer (1811-1900)[4]
Mercy died at the age of 73 on 30 July 1851 in Windham, Cumberland, Maine.[5] She was buried in the Bay View Cemetery in south Portland, Cumberland, Maine.[1]
