In the 1910 census Willis (age 0) was the single son of Eugene H Dyer in Rockland Ward 1, Knox, Maine, United States.^[1] Note: USC 1910 Rockland ME-he 7yrs b ME [adopted]

In the 1920 census Willis (age 10) was the single stepson of Charles A Murdock in Portland Ward 2, Portland, Cumberland, Maine, United States.^[2] Euphemia (presumably the same Euphemia who was the wife of Eugene) is now married to Charles Murdock. Willis evidently took the last name of Murdock.

Willis Murdock married Matilda L Tanguay on 10 June 1929 in Maine, United States.^[3]

In the 1930 census Willis (age 20) was the married head of household in South Portland, Cumberland, Maine, United States.^[4]
