Biography

Betsey A Dyer daughter of Warren D. Dyer and Elizabeth (Manchester) Dyerwas born on April 29, 1848[1] in Westport, Bristol, Massachusetts.[2][3][4] At age 4, she was in her parent's home in Westport, Bristol, Massachusetts, along with siblings.[5]

At age 15, She married James H. Sowle (1840-1931) on July 29, 1863 in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island.[6] They had 6 children, with 5 living in 1900.[7]

In 1880, they lived in Westport, Bristol, Massachusetts, where James was a House Carpenter, and Betsey was taking care of the home and children, Patience-14, Emma-13, Edna-11, Henry-6, and Elliot-4.[8]

They lived on a Farm in Westport, Bristol, Massachusetts in 1900, with their son Harold-14.[7]

She died on December 22, 1914, at the age of 66, in Westport, Bristol, Massachusetts, [9]and was buried in the Pleasant View Cemetery' in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island.[1]
