Elfrid of Essex was the daughter of Offa King of Essex, who died in 709. ^[1]

Elfrid's mother was Koneswitha of Mercia.

Note: Offa actually renounced his throne in 709 and became a monk. He did not die that year.

Assume that Elfrid was born before her father became a monk, say, 705.

Marriage

Elfrid married Ceolwulf I King of Mercia, who was born 778 and died 823 in Mercia. ^[1]
