This profile should have been attached to his father John Thompson, Thompson-213.

Also, William's place of birth is unknown but almost certainly was not Stonington. Best to delete John Thompson (Thompson -8567) since John executed a deed in 1691, 8567 is a duplicate of 213.

Question: If, according to the History of Stonington, William "came to Stonington, Conn., and m. Bridget Chesebrough, how was he born in Stonington?
