Biography

David was born about 1760.^[1] He was the son of Hezekiah Benedict and Hannah Judd of Stony Hill, Danbury, Connecticut.^[2]

David married Deborah Dibble 17 Oct 1782. She died 14 Aug 1804. ^{[3] [4]}

He left Danbury, Connecticut around 1775/6 and settled in Maryland, Schoharie County, New York where his father followed a year later.^[5]

He died 7 Mar 1826 and is buried in the Schenevus Cemetery in Schenevus, New York as noted below.^[6]
