My records show that William , who served in Co. E. (the Highland Company), 31st Va. Reg. was wounded at Cross Keys, Va. His brother, John, also in the CSA, died at Middleton, Va. in 1862. Brothers Anthony and Samuel survived the War without injury and lived full lives, both being buried in Highland Co.
