Isabel (Twining) Baker immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
Parentage; Immigration to New England
Isabel Twining was born in England a daughter of William Twining. Isabel immigrated with her parents to the Massachusetts Bay Colony, where in 1641, they were residents of Yarmouth, situated about thirty miles southeast of Plymouth.
Marriage and Children
On June 17, 1641, Isabel married Francis Baker,[1][2] born in England about 1611. He is not the same Francis sailed from England aboard the ship Planter in 1635.[3] He went from Plymouth to Yarmouth, where he was permitted to dwell on June 1, 1641, a few days before Isabel and he were married. In 1659, Francis and Isabel were living in Eastham, on ten acres "lying upon Poche," near the land of Isabel's father. Francis made his Will in 1693 and his death occurred July 23, 1696.
Isabel died on 16 May 1706 in Yarmouth, Massachusetts. [4]
Isabel was born in 1615. She passed away in 1706.
