Biography

Keziah "Kizzie" Covey was born about 1813 or 1814 in Pulaski County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Samuel P. Covey, Jr. and Mary Magdalene (Sperry) Covey.

Kizzie grew up in a large family: She had three sisters and five brothers.

On 14 November 1835, she married to Jesse Hall in Montgomery County, Virginia.

They moved to Missouri ca. 1843 and had several children.

Keziah (Covey) Hall and her husband Jesse may be found listed on the 1860, 1870 and 1880 U.S. Census records for the town of Hudson, Macon County, Missouri.

Kizzie died 30 March 1888 at Macon, Missouri, and is buried at the Belleview Cemetery.
