Margaret (Gilmer) Kirkpatrick was a South Carolina colonist.

Margaret Gilmer was born in 1738 in Craven County, British Province of South Carolina, North America. The Gimer/Ghilmer family migrated with the Kilpatrick family and she is most likely a member of that same family.

Margaret was the second wife of Francis Kirkpatrick. They married after 1775 in British Province of Carolina, North America. They are believed to have had the following children:

  1. Wallace Kirkpatrick,
  2. William Thomas Kirkpatrick,
  3. Jane Kirkpatrick and
  4. Edward Morehead Kirkpatrick

Francis died on April 28, 1797 in Camden District, Chester County, South Carolina. After his death, Margaret married Unknown Brown. [citation needed]

Margaret died in 1798 in Camden District, Chester County, South Carolina, United States[1]
