Based on "An account 'found among the papers of John Milnes, Esq.' .... shows Thomas [Gregory should be Gregson] as having married [1] Ann Twiford, 'daughter and heir to the Wil'm Twiford of Sherrow Hall.' ... through this marriage ... Gregson family came into possession of Sherrow Hall."

Thomas married (2) Elizabeth ______.

Prindle attributes four sons to the Thomas -- (1) Thomas (married Ann/Alice, daughter of Henry Merry), (2) John Gregson, (3) William Gregson, and (4) Gregory Gregson. Prindle cites in part, The Publications of the Harleian Society, 37:216-17.
