Biography
Ruth Shaw was born in 1738 in Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts, New England. She was the daughter of Zachariah Shaw and Sarah Packard. She passed away in 1796 in Athol, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA.
On 7 Feb. 1759 Ruth Shaw, 20 years old, married Joseph Snow Sr. (1734-1793), in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts Bay. Like her husband, Ruth descended from a "Mayflower Family," via 1620 passenger James Chilton.[1] The couple lived in Bridgewater and had the following 8 children: [2]
