Biography

Frank Leslie Cockrum was born on 31 December 1883 in Baxter County, Arkansas, United States, son of John Alfred Cockrum and Frances Caroline (Toney) Cockrum.

When he registered for the World War I draft in 1918 he was living and working in Los Angeles. Hammond Lumber Company was his employer. He was described as of medium height and build with black hair and gray eyes. His closest relative was Mrs C S. Bunschuh, his sister Alice.[1]

He worked as a retail yard lumberman.

Frank died on 16 June 1951 in North Hollywood, California aged 67.[2] He is buried in Valhalla Memorial Park, North Hollywood, Los Angeles County, California, USA.[3]
