Note: Mary was named after both a sister (Mary Blaydes) and a grandmother (Mary Bibb Key) of James Elliott Blaydes. The name "Allie" is for the Alley family in Texas into which Nancy Millar married.
For the 1910 Census, Mary A. Fleming is a widower and living in Memphis. She is living in the home with her brother-in-law, Tom Fleming, also a widower. Kathleen and Allie Fleming are children in the home.
Sometime between 1920-1930, Mary remarried a physician, Dr. Piatt H. Anderson. Their home was located at 1778 Overton Park Avenue, but Mary had possessions of her own, especially farms, located in Tipton County and Shelby County, TN as well as in Crittendon, AR. Her will was recorded on June 21, 1944 in Will Record Book No. 56, starting at page 344.
