Biography

Moses Huntley, son of Jabez and Betty (Smith) Huntley, was born on 24 May 1796 at Machias, Washington County, Maine.[1]

He married Clarissa Beckwith.[1]

He seems to have married Mehitable W. Redfield, daughter of Owen and Anna (McCormick) Redfield. There is some confusion on this marriage and possible sources.[1]

Moses died after 1850 probably in Winnebago County, Illinois.[1]

  2. Jabez L. b. c. 1822 died 22 July 1864 married Amy or Emma Lake.

  1. Jane Ann b. 1832 married Daniel Carney.
  2. Truman D. b. 12 May 1834 died 6 Oct,. 1909 married Julia Ann Mead.
