Biography
Anne Dacre was the daughter of Sir Thomas Dacre, 3rd Lord Dacre of the North, and his wife Elizabeth Greystoke.
At Kirkoswald, Cumberland, on 28 Sep 1515 she married Sir Christopher Conyers, 2nd Lord Conyers. He was the son of Sir William Conyers of Hornby, Yorks, and Anne Neville, daughter of the 3rd Earl of Westmoreland.

Anne survived her husband by almost 10 years. After her husband's death, she was left with significant debt that her husband had accumulated and in desperation her brother, William 3rd Lord Dacre and even Anne herself wrote to Thomas Cromwell for financial assistance. It is not known whether she received relief[1]. Her will made 16 Dec 1547 was proved 21 April 1548. She was buried at Skelton, Yorks.[2]
