CALAIS, March 13 — Benjamin F. Dudley, Sr., 81, died at a Calais Hospital Sunday after a brief illness. He waa born in Dennysville, October 2, 1873, the son of William and Nancy (Reynolds) Dudley.
Mr. Dudley is survived by three sons, Carroll W., of North Lubec, Ralph L. and Benjamin F. of Woodland; two daughters, Mrs. Laura S. Wood of Machias, and Mrs. Lillian E. Lawless of Orange, Mass.; three brothers, Henry S. Dudley of Lubec, Edward Dudley of Machias and George Dudley of Dennysville; a sister, Mrs. Deborah McAllister of Solon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Scott Funeral Home in Calais Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with the Rev. Walter Lyons of the First Baptist Church in Milltown officiating.
Interment will be in the Dennnysville cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
