Biography
Henry, son of Alan le Norreys (d.c.1350), succeeded his father as lord of Speke manor. [1]
Children
He is the father of Sir John Norris of Speke, who married Catherine Balderstone,[2] or Cecily Massey.[3]
Research Notes
- "Norris of Speake," in Vis. of Lancs., 1567, asserts that Henry was son of William Norris & Joan Molyneux. However, there are problems with pedigrees in the 1567 Visitation (see Vis. 1664/5 for corrections).
