I’m disattaching this Judith Soane as wife of James Thweatt/Threatt Threatt-438 because he married Judith Soane in 1701 and this Judith Soane was born in 1701, so it’s impossible. This is either a duplicate with the wrong birth information, or a different person entirely.

There seem to be date issues with this profile and some others in Soane. I notice they are not sourced. The marriage license of Judith Soane and James Threatt (the immigrant) is dated 24 Oct 1702 in Henrico Co (Historical Southern Families Vol V, Bodie). In 1724 all three James Thweatts are alive and each is recorded with his wife at that time: James with Judith Soane, James with Mary Thweatt, and James with Ann Thweatt. Based on property records Judith died not long after 1724.

Are the dates and relationship here incorrect or is this supposed to be another Judith Soane?

I am detaching this Judith with these dates as mother of James Threatt b 1695 as the dates are not possible.

she's set in a rejected match with Soane-14 because they do not appear to be the same person (different parents/birth years) but both were attached as wife of James Thweatt/Threatt and mother of Martha (Soane-14 was kept as Martha's mother in the merge because this Judith's profile says she was born 1701, and Martha's profile has her birth as 1710).

Aside from James (b 1720), the children attached to this profile are born too soon for her to have been their mother.
