  5. Gravestone. NB: These ages at death yield a birth date of 7 or 8 Apr 1803, which is problematic, given the birth date of her sister, Martha "Patty" Bryant, 31 Oct 1803, as reported in Mrs. Beulah G. Jackman, Earliest Records of Machias, Maine (1767-1827) (Concord, NH, 1937?, 55 pages), p. 8. It is more probable that her birth date, 7 Apr 1806, as cited in Dr. Bailey's Genealogy of the Spragues of Baileyville, p. 5, is her correct birth date, which means that her age at death would have been 75y 3m 25d, and not 78y, as recorded on her gravestone.
