Matthew Boynton born in 1523, eldest son and heir of Thomas Boynton [1501-1523] of Roxby and Cecily Strangeways, daughter of Sir James Strangeways of Sneaton[1]
Matthew married Anne Bulmer, daughter of Sir John Bulmer of Wilton.
