Biography

Ira Adams was born about 1785 in of Whitehall, Washington, Province of New York, son of Joel Adams (~1760–1820) and Louisa Tupper (~1763–1815).

In the 1850 census he (age 55) was in Watertown, Jefferson, New York, United States.[1]

In the 1855 census he (age 60) was the head of household in E.D. 1, Rutland, Jefferson, New York, United States.[2]

His child Leonard W Adams married Mary Electa Blake on 27 Dec 1870 in Rock, Wisconsin, United States.[3]

His daughter Jane Wood married Newton S. Chapin on 3 Nov 1878 in Trempealeau, Wisconsin, United States.[4]

His daughter Caroline Adams Nichols died in 1884 in Dorchester, Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States.[5]

Ira died 30 Jul 1859 and was burried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Evansville, Rock County, Wisconsin, United States with a death date of 30 Jul 1859.[6]
