Biography

According to Flower (1881), the wife of William Nevill, son of Edmond Nevill and Isot Leversedge, was generally thought to be Elizabeth, dau. of Sir John Harrington of Farlton & Katherine, dau. of Sir Robert Sherburn ... But a lesser known assertion was that Wm.'s wife was Aliva, d. & h. of Matthew de Cornubia.[1]

Dugdale (1899), simply states that William's wife was Elizabeth, dau. of Sir John Harrington. He does not identify Harrington's parentage or family branch.[2]

David Gometz
I believe that the parents here are incorrect, as both of them died 30 years before her birth. More likely Elizabeth is their granddaughter, and is the daughter of John de Harrington (1281-1347) and Margaret Burligham (b.1283).
