Early Albertson I was born 25 Jun 1756 in Pitt Co., NC. [1] He married Elizabeth Coulson 02 Mar 1780.
Early served in the Revolutionary War during three different periods. Last discharged in 1778. Revolutionary War pension dated 28 May 1834. He moved to east Tennessee and purchased 111 acres on Lost Creek by deed dated 24 January 1797. On 27 Nov 1799, he sold his property and moved to Pusaski Co., KY. In 1805 he moved to Overton Co., TN on land described as being on the waters of the Obed River granted to him by grant number 2084 dated 30 Oct 1811 based on entry number 721. [2]
"Early Albertson came from North Carolina to Kentucky, being the third family to settle in Kentucky south of the Cumberland River, lived with other two families in block house for protection against Indians. Removed from Kentucky to Tennessee and settled in Overton County." [3]
