Biography

When Thomas Loomis was born on December 3, 1653, his father, John Loomis, was 38 and his mother, Elizabeth Scott, was 28.^{[1] [2]} He married Sarah (White) Loomis in 1680 in Massachusetts.^[3][4][5] They had two children during their marriage. John Loomis, born 1680, and Thomas Loomis, born 1684. He died as a young father on August 12, 1688, at the age of 34.^[6][7]
