Biography

Mary Burr was born about 1689 in Fairfield Connecticut, the daughter of Daniel and Mary (Sherwood) Burr. She entered into the covenant and was baptized on 30 May 1708 at Greenfield Hill Church.^[1]

By 1720 she had married David Meeker as his second wife.

She died on August 30 1763 in the Greenfield Hill section of Fairfield, Connecticut.

The will of Mary Meeker dated 20 Aug 1759, proved 16 Sept 1763, mentions 2 grandsons Peter & Abijah Murwin, daug Abigail Gorham, 3 granddaughters Ruth, Sarah and Mary Murwin, son David and his heirs. Lockwood Gorham, executor.^[2]

Her inventory was taken on 3 January 1764.^[3]
