Biography

John Banks was born on 8 September 1802 in Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He was the son of Nehemiah Banks and Sarah (Sherwood) Banks.

He married Caroline Ogden on 9 May 1824 in Greenfield Hill Church.^[1]

John died on 14 November 1886 in Fairfield. He was buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.
